It’s essential to ensure everyone is committed and actively pushing forward:
1. After creating the group, clarify the requirements and deadlines of the project. Based on these deadlines, plan project timelines, collect everyone’s approximate weekly availability, and allocate time for project work each week. Don’t wait until the deadline approaches to start working! The pain of last-minute rushes is something we all understand.
2. During discussions, there may be members who can’t participate on time due to various reasons. It’s understandable once or twice, but if someone repeatedly fails to attend, it can create resentment among the group members. Therefore, ensure you’re someone who participates on time and encourage others to do the same. Otherwise, there will always be someone who repeatedly fails to participate, eventually leading to non-participation.
3.Take every discussion seriously. Don’t just rely on voice discussions; create meeting rooms and keep brief meeting records. Clearly define the purpose of each discussion, and ideally, ensure there are results from each discussion to avoid wasting time.
4. After each discussion, assign tasks and deadlines. Everyone should present their interim results within the set time frame for further discussion. If everyone agrees, move on to the next step. This way, the project can progress smoothly.
